The newborn photography sessions will happen in the comfort of your home, with natural light and your family. I travel all around Everett, Seattle, Bothell, Mill Creek, Redmond, Mukilteo, Lynnwood and more! These photo sessions are laidback and paced according to the needs of the newborn baby. All I need you, baby and a big window with lots of natural light to get photos like you see in the gallery below. when is the best time to book a newborn session?


These in-home newborn photos can be scheduled between 1-2 weeks or even until the baby is 3 months old (at the end of the baby's fourth trimester). Your baby is likely to be asleep for most of the session the earlier you book. If you'd like for more alertness, interaction and open eyes (from the baby, but I can understand if it's from you too), you can book a month or so later. That way you will have more time to get to know your newborn baby and relax a bit into your bodies and routine.

intuitive baby-led photo sessions

I will be there in your home, with my camera as you navigate caring for this tiny human. These newborn sessions are baby-led and that means there is very little posing involved. If the baby need to eat, they eat. If they need a change, that's what you'll do. My camera will follow you as needed during this time we have together. I will give you direction throughout the shoot but the main goal is to love and connect with your baby. These sessions primarily take place at you home in Everett, Mukilteo, Botherll or other cities in the greater Seattle area.

Do i need to prepare my home for a newborn session?

There is very little you will need to do. I know how to move items out of the way for the shot. My camera can be angled to focus on you rather than your surroundings. Here is a great blog post I wrote about how you can prepare for a lifestyle newborn session in your home.

booking a maternity-Newborn package


Bundling a maternity and newborn session gives you a great discount on your session. You also receive a commemorative photo album with photos from both sessions as a keepsake. It's such an incredible time and you'll never regret remembering it with professional photos. Contact me to ask about discount pricing.
