As a Seattle family photographer, I get to meet people of various background with such interesting stories. I never really know the impact we make on each other until they leave me a review. The dad from this family I photographed in Everett didn't say too much to me during their in-home photo session but reading his client testimonial after the fact was such a surprise to me. This was an extended family session that took place in North Everett, right outside the downtown area. It was a snow day, so driving was pretty scary but we did it and this family had a wonderful post-Covid reunion story to keep close forever.

We had family in town for Christmas 2021 and had Edlyn take pictures for us. I wish I had pictures of her taking pictures - it was so much fun we were all laughing and joking around. I was not looking forward to it all all but, Edlyn made it awesome.
It was snowing a lot that day and we had a ton of snow on the ground. That didn't stop Edlyn from showing up on time and even suggested some pictures out in the snow, which turned out great. We were so relaxed - I can't stress that enough how at ease Edlyn made us feel. She even laughed at some of my lame dad jokes :) I will definitely keep her in mind when we need a photographer again.
We had our pictures done in a downtown Everett hotel lobby and Edlyn did not hesitate to move furniture and props around to get the best shot. Oh and she even paid attention to how the light came in through all the lobby windows. Things I wouldn't have thought of. But wait, there's more. When we got the edited pictures back they were spot on. For as many pictures as she took we got the pictures back really fast. She even came out to the house to take pet pictures! I have a white dog and him out in the snow with my 11 year old daughter are ones I'll keep and cherish for years to come.
I typically don't do reviews but I wanted to do this one just because I was so happy and excited I just had to! If you're on the fence trying to decide on a photographer, give her a shout! Well done Edlyn, I wish you all the best.
